Labor and delivery has been a great interest of mine for some time. Since giving birth to my three children, I have been drawn to pregnancy, birth, and babies. I was very interested in this process but it wasn't until I was introduced to what a doula was that I realized there was a place for me to help mothers and their partners. My own experiences lacked certain support that would have made the birth process complete. From my experiences, I have learned that I want to provide emotional support, physical comfort and objective viewpoints. Being a doula is something that I truly love. I am very excited about the opportunities that I have had and those that await.
