The belly preserves in great detail the shape of your pregnant belly. A lot of women are now making belly casts to celebrate their pregnancy and the gift of life. It is a wonderful remembrance of the time of when you and your baby started the inexplicable and special bonding that will continue for years to come.
It is a simple but patient process, using Gypsonia bandages. After the belly dries, it needs to cure for about 24 hours. Then you or Special can decorate your belly to match your baby's nursery, or whatever you can imagine.
To achieve the desired cast, the pregnant mother is consulted on her preference of position and pose. Petroleum Jelly is applied to protect the skin, followed by the belly casting materials which creates the form.
